How long does a screen replacement take?
Most phone screen replacements take 60–90 minutes at our Tiverton workshop. iPad screens typically take 2–3 hours. MacBook screens require 24–48 hours as they are more complex. We'll give you an accurate time estimate when you bring your device in.
Will my screen feel the same after repair?
Yes — we use either original or premium-quality aftermarket parts that replicate the look, feel and performance of the original screen. Touch sensitivity, brightness, colour accuracy and any special features (e.g. ProMotion, OLED) are all preserved.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Every screen replacement comes with our 12-month warranty. If the screen develops a fault within 12 months of the repair (through normal use), we replace it at no charge. Physical damage such as re-cracking is not covered by the warranty.
Can you repair a screen that still works but is cracked?
Yes — and we'd recommend it sooner rather than later. A cracked screen can continue to function perfectly well for a while, but the crack will typically spread, and moisture can enter through the break causing further damage. A prompt repair is always cheaper than a later one.
Will repairing my screen void my warranty?
For devices still under Apple or Samsung warranty, it's worth checking if the damage is covered under your warranty or insurance first. For out-of-warranty devices, third-party screen repair does not void any remaining warranties under UK consumer rights legislation.
