Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. For the full picture of how we handle your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember things between visits — like whether you've logged in, or which pages you've viewed. Some are essential to make a site work; others are used for things like analytics or advertising.
The cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum. This site uses no advertising or marketing cookies and does not track you across other websites. Here's the complete list:
Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are popular and how visitors find us. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that distinguish one visitor from another using a random identifier. They don't tell us who you are, and we use the information only in aggregate to improve the site.
Embedded maps — Google Maps
Our contact and Tiverton pages include an embedded Google Map to help you find the workshop. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies — see Google's cookie policy for details.
Security — Cloudflare Turnstile
Our enquiry forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks you're a human rather than a spam bot. Cloudflare may use a cookie or similar identifier strictly for this security purpose. It involves no puzzles, no tracking across sites and no advertising — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
How to control cookies
- Browser settings: every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies won't stop this site working; you can still browse, call us and send enquiries.
- Google Analytics: you can opt out of Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Private browsing: cookies set during a private/incognito session are deleted when you close the window.
Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
