Every repair is carried out in the van itself — it is a proper mobile workshop, carrying the same tools, parts and bench kit we use at Tiverton, in controlled conditions rather than on someone’s worktop. But some jobs genuinely need the workshop: a liquid-damaged board that has to be stripped and ultrasonically cleaned, or a screen we don’t have with us for an unusual model. When that happens we take the device back to Tiverton, do the work properly, and bring it back to you when it’s finished — and you still only pay one call-out fee, not two. You are never charged twice because a repair turned out to be more involved than it looked.
