How do I know if my phone battery needs replacing?
On iPhone, go to Settings → Battery → Battery Health. If it shows below 80%, Apple recommends replacement. Signs of a failing battery on any device include rapid drain, unexpected shutdowns before 0%, overheating during normal use, and erratic percentage readings. We'll also assess battery health as part of our free diagnostic.
How long does a battery replacement take?
iPhone and Samsung battery replacements typically take 1–2 hours at our Tiverton workshop. MacBook batteries are done the same day, usually within 2–3 hours. iPad and laptop batteries vary by model.
Will a new battery make my phone faster?
It can do, yes. Apple has confirmed that iOS throttles CPU performance on iPhones with degraded batteries to prevent unexpected shutdowns.
