Our Story

MTM IT has been serving the people of Tiverton and Mid Devon since 2014. What started as a local phone repair service has grown into a full-service repair workshop covering everything from cracked iPhone screens to MacBook logic boards, games consoles, iPads and IT support.

We're based at The Old Bakery on West Exe South in Tiverton — a workshop that's become known across the region for fast, honest, high-quality repairs. Over the past decade we've built a reputation on doing things right: using premium parts, standing behind our work with a 12-month warranty, and never charging for a repair we can't complete.

Our specialist area is Apple products — and in particular the damaged devices that go well beyond a display or battery swap. We regularly see Macs, iPhones and iPads that other repairers have written off, and more often than not we can bring them back to life: water-damaged logic boards, faulty charging circuitry, devices that won't power on. Even when the device itself is beyond saving, we can often recover the data and photos that matter most. We have the tools and experience to fix it properly.

How We Work

Every repair starts with a free diagnostic assessment. We examine your device, identify the fault, confirm the exact price, and only proceed with your explicit approval. There are no surprises, no hidden fees, and no pressure.

We use either original or premium-quality aftermarket parts that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications. We never cut corners on parts — cheap components cause problems, and our 12-month warranty means we'd end up fixing them again anyway. So we get it right the first time.

Our workshop is appointment-only — this allows us to give every repair the time and attention it deserves, and means you're never waiting behind a pile of drop-ins. Most common repairs are completed within 90 minutes of your appointment. If we can't fix it, you pay nothing.
