My laptop is really slow — can you actually help?
Yes — it's the most common job we do. The cause is usually a combination of a full drive, too many startup programs, malware, or an ageing hard drive. Our tune-up addresses all of it, and in many cases an SSD upgrade makes an old laptop feel brand new.
Will a tune-up delete my files?
No. A tune-up clears junk, caches and clutter — not your documents, photos or programs. We'll always recommend a backup first as good practice.
Is it worth tuning up an old laptop, or should I just replace it?
Often a tune-up (and an SSD if it still has a spinning hard drive) is far cheaper than a new machine and gives years more life. We'll give you an honest view — if it really isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
How long does a tune-up take?
Most tune-ups are completed the same day at our Tiverton workshop. If we're fitting an SSD as part of it, that's usually same day too.
Do you tune up both Windows PCs and Macs?
